Account and security
Your profile, email, password, sign-in options, and sessions.
Open Settings → Account to manage your identity and security. The same screen also holds your display preferences, like 12-hour vs 24-hour time.
Profile and email
Edit your full name and unique username on the profile card. Your email address carries a Verified / Unverified badge next to it.
New password accounts get an email verification link — if it expires, request another from the verification screen. When you change your email, the approval link goes to your current inbox and the new address stays pending until verified — your existing address keeps working in the meantime, and the pending banner offers Resend and Cancel.
Password and sessions
Forgot your password? Use Forgot password on the login screen — you'll get a single-use reset link that expires. Reset links only apply to accounts that sign in with a password.
Changing credentials signs out other sessions
After you change your password or verify a new email address, every other session stops working and has to sign in again — only the device where you made the change stays signed in. A lost laptop doesn't keep access.
Sign in without a password
Depending on your workspace, you can sign in with Google, LinkedIn, GitHub, or your organization's SSO instead of a password. Two rules keep accounts safe:
- Only verified provider emails are accepted.
- An external sign-in links to an existing EveryFeed account only when that account's email is already verified — accounts are never silently merged.
Accounts that only use an external sign-in have no password form — credentials stay managed by the identity provider.
Delete your account
Deletion asks you to type DELETE to confirm. Password accounts also enter their current password; external-sign-in accounts confirm through a one-time link sent by email instead. Deletion is blocked while an organization you own still has other members (transfer ownership first) or a subscription that is still running (cancel it first). Deleting your account also removes every organization that only you own.
